Independent student & explorer of life as you'll come to know it through my stories & edits, my adulthood journey started at I.P. Pavlov Ryazan State Medical University, back when my life had a schedule that looked like a military operation and a body that didn’t complain in three different languages.

Before writing became my daily oxygen, I was a professional middle-distance runner and a junior semi-pro basketball player. Training was simple then: show up, suffer a bit more than your teammates, get better. No debates. No hot takes. Just reps, lungs, sauna and stubbornness.

Now my workouts look less “athlete” and more “farmer who refuses to pay for taxis.” I push my youngest boy and girl around in a Thule stroller like it’s a Swedish Sled, like I’ve got personal beef with Uber and every taxi driver on earth. It’s cardio, strength training, and parenting all bundled into one slightly ridiculous routine.

On Medium, I run Honest Fiction & Bad Writerrrr—two publications built for readers who want writing that hits—and writers who want a lift. I work with writers who have something real to say, not status-quo marketers, and I personally do full edits on every accepted story. Manually. Line by line. No auto-accept pipeline, no “looks fine” approvals, no letting the feed turn into a dumping ground. If it’s published under my roof, it’s because I opened it, read it, tightened it, and made sure it earns the reader’s time.

I’m not here to preach. I’m here to build a place where good writing doesn’t get buried under noise—and where every piece feels like it was handled by a real human who still gives a frog, with zero hidden fees.
